Raimi Has Ideas
Yesterday while Ro was at work, Raimi and were taking advantage of the good weather by playing outside. Mainly this involved digging holes in the ground to look for worms. Raimi loves looking at bugs and worms, but he has a strong aversion to holding them in his hands. I would say “Raimi hold this worm in your hand so I can dig for more,” and he’d say “No, I can’t. It’s dirty.” Wonder where he gets that from. But anyways, he was really interested in the worms, even if he didn’t hold them. I would hold them up to show him, and he’d say “Hello worms, how you doin’? Are you hungry? Here’s some food!” And then he would put a small clump of dirt right near the worms.
Afterwards we were just laying on the ground under the cherry tree, looking up at the clouds, when Raimi suddenly said “I have an idea!” I got all excited because it’s the first time he’d used a phrase like that. “What’s your idea?” I said. He thought about it for a few seconds before saying “Oinky kicks the ball in the tree.”
I have no idea what that means, but it was cool that he recognized it as part of the process of having an idea.
