If You’re Happy & You Know It
Raimi’s talking like a full-grown person these days, so just about everything that comes out of his mouth is amusing. He’s really into jokes and trying to make people laugh, and is also starting to get into acting and copying other people and things he sees on TV. We were watching Fraggle Rock the other day and he was cracking himself up by copying the depressed Fraggle in the opening credits. Some other things he’s said recently:
- He’s been learning about the different kinds of clouds, but so far he prefars to refer to cirrus clouds as “mysterious clouds.”
- Recently there was bad weather and Raimi said “I think there’s going to be tormados.”
- The other day I was getting Raimi some juice at breakfast, but instead of just orange juice, he decided it would be a good idea to have orange and grapefruit juice mixed together. While I was pouring it into his cup he said “This is going to be absolutely delicious.
- The other night we were doing crafts projects and Raimi started playing with his scissors and singing “If you’re happy and you know it, cut your hands…”
- Today we had to take the car to the mechanic’s, and there was another guy waiting in line with us. Raimi eyed him for a second, then turned to me and said “Is that guy going to stand there forever?”
