Yesterday during bathtime, Raimi was dawdling and talking to himself instead of getting out of the bath as I had asked. “Raimi!” I said, “Listen to me!”
He looked up at me and said, “I think that when you get to the highest number you can count, it goes back before 1.”
This struck me as very profound — what’s bigger than infinity? Everything/All/One.
Tonight before dinner time, I guess Kinnell asked me to read a book and I’d put him off because I was trying to set the table. He got a very serious look on his face, shook his head and told me, “In a minute…means…not right now.”
